Grading is underway near the south end of the site. The ground is prepared for the installation of short retaining wall that will run parallel to the south track lead into the Mid-Willamette Valley Intermodal Center.

Rebar is staged for the construction of concrete runners. Concrete runners will be the travel surface for large rubber tired Gantry Cranes that lift containers on and off the trains.

Site Work continues steadily. Rotschy Construction Company is working closely with Engineering and Environmental teams to ensure the last remnants of decommissioned mill infrastructure and building foundations are removed, re-used as rubbelized fill or disposed of properly.

Final preparations are underway for bulk excavation efforts to begin next week.

Demolition and rubblization of remaining site foundations are on-going. Concrete is crushed to spec and stockpiled for use.
